The Edmonton Whitewater Paddlers, usually called EWP, is a non-profit organization formed in 1973 in order to promote recreational kayaking and canoeing. EWP was on the crest of the wave bringing canoe polo to Canada and responded by forming many teams and contributing many players to the national teams.
