Katherine is from New Zealand and moved to the US ?sometime?. In 2000, she, along with her husband, Paul Macey, founded the UCLA Kayak Polo Club. She coached the [US_Under_21_Men] in 2001 in preparation for the 2001 Pan American Championships. She has been on many national champion teams.
